Brother Mark off on World Trip

I'm sad to say that Brother Mark Jarvis will be taking a break from his Masonic duties from January 2014, but an exciting year lies ahead for our current Senior Deacon. Mark has taken a career break to take his family, wife Chantelle and 8 year old Daughter Etholle, on the trip of a lifetime around the world. They intend to circumnavigate the globe without flying, so plenty of trains, buses and boats.

Starting in Bredon, Worcestershire, the first leg of the journey will take them through Europe, across Siberia and down through China, ending up in Singapore by the end of February. Where they go from there has yet to be planned but they will be heading to Thailand, Cambodia, Indonesia and Australia before crossing the Pacific.

After a year away, I'm sure that he will be happy to step back into his Masonic shoes as there will be plenty of labour to address.

If you would like to keep up-to-date with his progress you can follow his blog: Good luck Mark!
